Both models share the same construction, load capacity, and feature set — the difference is the maximum vertical travel, with the 2 metre model suited to smaller level changes and the 3 metre model covering larger rises between two levels.
Can the Independence be installed outdoors?
Yes. The Independence is suitable for both internal and external locations, and a Marine Grade finish option is available for coastal or exposed sites.
Can the gates be changed to open in a different direction?
Yes. The gates can be rehanded to open in either direction, and the lift itself can be relocated if your access needs change in future.
What warranty does the Independence come with?
The Independence comes with 12 months parts and labour as standard, with extended warranties of up to 5 years available covering service and maintenance costs.
Is the Independence suitable for public access buildings?
Yes. The Independence is designed for both domestic and public access use, manufactured to BS 6440:2011 and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
