WhatIstheCibesAir®?

The Cibes A5000 is an all-inclusive, modular platform lift. Like the rest of the Cibes range, it arrives in ready-made elements that include everything needed for installation — including the lift shaft itself, made of steel or glass panels — so there's no need for a concrete lift shaft to be built on site.

It runs on standard household electricity, with no complicated electrics required, and is built to make efficient use of space: the passenger platform makes up around 70% of the lift's total footprint, and it needs no lift pit and only 2,300mm of headroom with standard doors. With a choice of platform sizes ranging from compact wheelchair-friendly options up to larger sizes suited to mobility scooters and delivery use, the A5000 is one of the most versatile lifts in the Cibes range.

WhatIstheCibesAir?

The Cibes Air® is an all-inclusive, modular platform lift. Like the rest of the Cibes range, it is delivered in ready-made modules with everything needed for installation, significantly reducing the building work involved compared with a conventional lift.

What sets the Air® apart is its handrail design. Rather than a separate button panel, the Air®'s handrail doubles as the control: lean on it to travel, and ease off to stop. It's an intuitive, ergonomic way to operate the lift that makes use of a passenger's natural instinct to reach for support. The Air® also has no machinery above or beneath the lift, keeping building costs and disruption to a minimum, and is available with a flexible choice of 300kg, 400kg or 500kg load capacities across a wide range of platform sizes.

What is the load capacity of the Cibes Air?

The Cibes Air® offers a flexible choice of 300kg, 400kg or 500kg rated load, depending on the platform size chosen.

How does the Air's handrail control work?

The handrail doubles as the control: lean on it to travel, and ease off to stop, making use of your natural instinct to reach for support rather than a conventional button panel.

How long does installation take?

Typically just a few days, since the Air® arrives in ready-made modules and requires next to no building adaptation compared with a conventional lift.

What lift shaft finishes are available?

The lift shaft can be specified in tempered, laminated safety glass for a bright, open feel, or steel panels for a more discreet, solid appearance.

How many floors can the Air serve?

Up to 6 stops, with a maximum travel of 15 metres.

What's the difference between the Cibes Air and the A4000/A5000?

he A4000 and A5000 use a conventional button panel to operate the lift. The Air® replaces this with its signature lean-to-travel handrail, and offers a more flexible choice of load capacities (300kg, 400kg or 500kg) across the same all-inclusive, modular concept.
