The Cibes A4000 is an all-inclusive, modular through-floor home lift from Swedish manufacturer Cibes Lift. It arrives with everything needed for installation — including its own lift shaft — typically fitted in just 2-3 days.

The Residential Elevator is a through-floor homelift, providing smooth and quiet travel between floors with external controls on both levels. It sits close to the wall but isn't fixed to it, so when the lift isn't in use, the room it occupies stays free for everyday living.

It comes with Pollock's Intelligent Logic Diagnostic Interface as standard — a digital control system with benefits for end users as well as installers and service engineers, including simplified servicing and reduced fault-finding. The Residential Elevator is manufactured in the UK by Pollock Homelifts, part of the same Pollock Lifts group that's been in the lift access industry since 1983.

The Cibes A4000 is an all-inclusive, modular through-floor home lift. Unlike a traditional lift installation, it arrives in ready-made modules that include everything needed for installation — including the lift shaft itself — which significantly reduces the building work involved and speeds up installation to around 2-3 days.

It runs on standard household electricity, with no specialist wiring required, and is designed to be space-efficient: the passenger platform makes up around 70% of the lift's total footprint. The A4000 is part of the wider Cibes range, which also includes the A5000, Cibes Air, A8000 and C1 Pure, covering different capacities, configurations and finishes to suit different homes.

What is the load capacity of the Cibes A4000?

The Cibes A4000 has a rated load of 300kg.

How long does installation take?

Typically 2-3 days, since the A4000 arrives in ready-made modules that include the lift shaft itself, significantly reducing the building work involved.

What colours and finishes are available?

Steel doors come in a standard white RAL 9016 finish, and aluminium doors in an Anodic Natura finish. The lift shaft can be specified in tempered, laminated safety glass or steel panels.

How many floors can the A4000 serve?

Up to 6 stops, with a maximum travel of 15 metres.

Does the A4000 need special electrics?

No. It runs on a standard household electricity supply, with no specialist wiring required.

Are other Cibes lift models available?

Yes. Cibes also makes the A5000 (indoor/outdoor, higher capacity), Cibes Air (flexible capacity), A8000 (1,000kg heavy-duty), and C1 Pure (fully enclosed cabin lift). Ask your installer which model best suits your property. These are the original 6 — they don't yet include a pricing question, since I built them before you gave me the £17,995 figure.
